Intense Pulsed Light™ (IPL) Skin Treatments
Intense Pulsed Light™ (IPL) is a dynamic new method for delivering non-invasive cosmetic skin treatments. Photorejuvenation
Intense Pulsed Light™ (IPL) using the photorejuvenation process is a non-invasive method of treating skin damage without disruption of the skin’s surface. Photorejuvenation provides an overall smoother appearance within four to six brief treatments performed once every three weeks. IPL photorejuvenation can safely and effectively treat a wide range of skin imperfections, including:

Photorejuvenation is not only used to treat facial skin. The skin of the décolleté (upper chest), shoulders, back, arms and hands can all be treated with IPL photorejuvenation. Vein Treatments
Superficial spider veins and broken capillaries can be effectively eliminated through advanced IPL photo-treatment. During treatment, the damaged vessels absorb the Intense Pulsed Light™, which causes them to dissolve. Depending on the severity and depth of the vessels, repeat treatments may be necessary for optimal results. IPL vein treatment is completely safe and can be performed anywhere on the body and face; most often, it is used to treat veins and small capillaries on the legs, face, chest and neck.
This specialized Intense Pulsed Light™ (IPL) treatment offers a long lasting, relatively painless solution for removing unwanted hair from the face, back, legs, bikini line or any other part of the body. IPL epilation has been performed safely for many years and has successfully resulted in a permanent reduction in the number of re-growing hairs following each treatment. Prior to treatment, a consultation and skin analysis is necessary. During your initial consultation, our aesthetician will ask you about your medical history to ensure that you are a good candidate for laser hair reduction. The number of hair reduction sessions required will depend upon the size of the area being treated, hair texture, color, skin type and hair density. Patients should avoid sun exposure for about 4 weeks prior to treatments, and for the same length of time after the treatments.
Removing a tattoo is a fading process that requires a series of treatments spaced at least six weeks apart. The tattoo inks selectively absorb the laser while the surrounding skin tissue remains unaffected. The tattoo is broken into smaller ink particles that are then harmlessly removed by the body in the weeks following treatment. The depth, color, type and amount of ink will determine how quickly the tattoo can be removed. Professional tattoos usually require five to ten treatment sessions before they can be completely removed from the skin. Patients may also choose to have tattoos “lightened” so that they can be concealed by a new tattoo. In most cases, a minimum of two to four treatments are needed to lighten an existing tattoo.

Facial Recanvassing Treatments
A beautiful face begins with gorgeous skin. The goal of recanvassing procedures is to repair visible damage to the skin by exfoliating the outer layers to reveal the fresh, radiant skin underneath.
Both effective and gentle on the skin, microdermabrasion exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells with a spray of micro-fine crystal beads that soften the appearance of wrinkles, scars and sun damage. Additionally, microdermabrasion treatments refine and clear pores, making it an effective treatment for controlling acne with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with photorejuvenation or facial peels to enhance results.
Facial Peels – AHA & BHA Formulas
The effectiveness of an AHA and BHA facial treatment is well documented, making this one of our most popular treatments. Facial peels even skin tone and smooth the texture of the skin by successfully reducing the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation and sun damage. Lactic, glycolic or salicylic acid peels quickly exfoliate the skin’s top layer of dead cells to reveal the underlying smooth, radiant skin. Collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin is stimulated after treatment, providing additional wrinkle-reducing effects. BHA formula peels are usually recommended for our patients with acne or normal-to-oily skin. Facial peels can be repeated every one to three weeks until ideal results are achieved. Mini-Facial
The mini-facial is a 30 minute simplified facial for those who wish to maintain the results of past skin treatment or pursue new treatments. It begins with an aroma steam that includes basic cleansing, exfoliation, a treatment masque, and the application of moisturizer and sun block to protect the skin.
European Facial
Classic European facials include exfoliation and steam treatments. After extraction (if needed), a facial, neck and shoulder massage is performed to reduce pressure from aching muscles. Facials are customized to meet the needs of each individual’s skin type.
